Hi All,
I know we all have such great memories of Grandmother and Granny in the kitchen making all that wonderful comfort food. So here's a thought. Before the next reunion, try to think of your favorite food that grandmother made and your memories surrounding it. It could be a single food (think coconut Nancy) or an entire meal - think sitting in the kitchen eating while the growns ate at the big table.
If you get the recipes to me or Laura we will compile them and the stories that go with them into a book for each of us to have. Grandmother's biscuits, blackberry dubie, homemade peach ice cream, and those grapes she made jelly from - except the year Bill and company stripped the vines clean. Ah such sweet tastes - and sweet memories.

FamFest 2011
Hi Everyone,
On Tues. evening while motoring up the Apalachicola River, the remmants of the reunion group officially ended FamFest 2011 and toasted to FamFest 2013. We kicked around a few suggestions for places to gather and I know Ralph, Kim, Brittany, Kyle and Brooks also came up with some suggesions.
So, I am establishing this blog so that we can post our suggestions, stay in touch and try to get ourselves together (Irma) for a bigger and better reunion in 2013.
Our group came up with North Carolina - Asheville to be exact. Our thinking is that it is central (except of the West Coasters of course) to almost everyone - especially Gen 4's and 5's. And we definitely want to get as many of them involved as we can. I will post some links to websites that I have been exploring, so please do the same.
It was a great time and we really missed those that weren't able to get to Tallahassee. We are keeping our fingers crossed that you can put this on your calendar for 2013. Kim will be sending our some date possibilities later I suspect. Love to all, Kaka
